Dr. Jennifer Laidlaw

Jennifer Laidlaw completed her MD at the University of British Columbia (UBC) before she completed her residency in Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. She was involved in medical education during her residency.  private psychiatry  has published and presented at international conferences on topics such as delirium screening, social media and professionalism. She began her career at Surrey Memorial Hospital as the Head Consultation Liaison (CL) and psychiatrist. She is an assistant professor at Tufts University School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry and adjunct faculty in the UM PM&R & Family Medicine residency programs. She has a long-standing interest in musculoskeletal education and research. She instructs Neuromuscular Medicine and Musculoskeletal Medicine to the Family Medicine Residents. She is also involved in ongoing research projects focusing on electrodiagnostic medical musculoskeletal and performing arts-medicine.

Dr. Pulkit Sing completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales before completing her Psychiatry Residency at the University of British Columbia. During her training she was awarded the Psychotherapy Award and an Undergraduate Teaching Award to recognize her accomplishments in these areas. She has worked in a variety of Psychiatry areas and has a special interest in Cardiac Psychiatry.

Dr. Nadeesha Fernando is a psychiatrist who works with adults of all ages in BC Cancer. She has a keen interest in psychooncology and is a fan of working with people who are older. She has been interested for a long time in geriatric psychiatry and has been an expert consultant at the Geriatric Psychiatry Consult Liaison Service (GPCLS) and the ECT Service at Vancouver General Hospital. She is a mentor and teacher for medical residents and students.

Dr. Theresa Lo

Dr. Theresa Lo completed medical school and psychiatry residency at the University of British Columbia. She has worked for the BC Cancer Agency and Surrey Mental Health. She also has a clinical practice in psychotherapy that includes dialectical behavioural therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy. She is proficient in Cantonese.

Dr. Karim was educated at Guy's King's St Thomas' and St George's hospitals in London and is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. Dr. Richford began her career as a nurse and then she studied medicine at Dalhousie. She received her MD in 1996. She is a psychiatrist on staff for Providence Health Care, Vancouver General Hospital, BC Cancer-Vancouver as well as a Clinical Associate professor at UBC. She is a former president of the British Columbia Psychiatric Association.
